At the heart of our teaching is a commitment to conservation and preservation of the natural world.
The mission of Nurturing Nature is to provide families with meaningful, hands-on experiences in nature that foster deep, lasting connections and inspire participants to become thoughtful stewards of nature.
Each Noticing Nature event is open to the public, with a focus on families with children from birth through elementary school, although the activities will be enjoyable for all ages!
These 60-minute experiences will highlight a unique nature-based theme and feature engaging, age-appropriate activities such as nature scavenger hunts, tree measuring, bird watching, and seasonal exploration.
The program is designed to make nature accessible, welcoming, and enjoyable for families of all backgrounds and experience levels.
Events will be held twice a month at a variety of locations throughout the Cedar Valley, allowing families to explore and connect with the diverse natural spaces in our community.
All events are free! No registration required.
